What is GTFS?

  • The General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS), is now a common exchange format for public transit information.
  • No registration required. Just follow our short and simple Developer License Agreement below and give our customers good information.
  • Keep your work up to date.  The feed is regularly updated. Keep up by regularly checking the permalink for the latest version.
  • Don't use the official SCMTD logo or system map.  Only we get to use official SCMTD trademarks and copyrighted works to let customers know they're getting info directly from SCMTD versus one of other places that use SCMTD open data.
  • Let us know about the cool stuff you're doing with the data.
