This is an application for the newly formed Metro Advisory Committee (MAC). This committee will provide advice to METRO’s Board of Directors on matters of METRO policy and operations referred to the Committee by the Board or Secretary/General Manager and to perform such additional duties as assigned by the Board. The Committee may also address issues which members or the public raise with respect to the quantity and quality of services provided by METRO.

Each member of METRO’s Board of Directors will appoint one member to the Metro Advisory Committee after reviewing the applications received. All appointees must be residents of the County of Santa Cruz and the term of membership shall be two years, with a possibility of reappointment for two successive terms. Terms shall commence on appointment by the Board of Directors.

MAC will meet on the third Wednesday of each month at a time after 5:00 p.m. to be determined by the Committee. The meeting place will also be determined by the Committee and will be in a central county location that is ADA accessible.
