Check Cashing Policy

  • You may write a check at the METRO Center Information Booth for the purchase of bus passes only
  • Your check must be local to the Santa Cruz METRO service area, including counties that are contiguous to Santa Cruz County
  • You must also present a valid California Driver’s license or legal photo ID when writing a check
  • There is a $15.00 service charge on all returned checks
