Getting To SJC Airport

Directions Northbound to Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC) from Santa Cruz

Take Amtrak Highway 17 Express Northbound from Santa Cruz to the Downtown Transit Center, 2nd Street, San Jose (allow approximately 60 minutes travel time)
Cross over the light rail tracks (watch for trains), then continue through the alley to 1st Street. (approximately 5 minutes travel time)
On 1st Street take the VTA Light Rail - Mountain View or VTA Light Rail - Alum Rock to the Metro Station
- Cross 1st Street to the glass gazebo bus stop
- Stops are announced on the train (allow approximately 20 minutes travel time)
Wait for the VTA #10 Eastbound Bus/ Airport Shuttle (the destination sign will read Santa Clara Transit Center)
- This will take you to the Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC) and makes stops at Terminals A and C
- The Shuttle is free and runs approximately every 15 minutes (allow approximately 10 minutes travel time)

Take Amtrak Highway 17 Express Northbound from Santa Cruz to the Diridon Station (allow approximately 60 minutes travel time)
Walk through the Diridon Station to the Light Rail Track. Take the VTA Light Rail - Mountain View to the Metro Station
Cross 1st Street to the glass gazebo bus stop
- Stop announcements will be made on the train (allow 15 minutes travel time)
Wait for the VTA #10 Westbound Bus/ Airport Shuttle (the destination sign will read Santa Clara Transit Center)
- This bus will take you to the Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC) and makes stops at Terminals A and C
- The Shuttle is free and runs approximately every 15 minutes (allow approximately 10 minutes travel time)

From any Terminal take the VTA #10 Eastbound Bus/Airport Shuttle (the destination sign will read Metro Light Rail Station).
- This bus will take you to the Metro Station glass gazebo
- The Shuttle is free and runs approximately every 15 minutes (allow approximately 10 minutes travel time)
Cross over to the Southbound Light Rail track from the glass gazebo bus stop (allow aproximately 5 minutes travel time)
Take the VTA Light Rail - Alum Rock to Santa Teresa or VTA Light Rail - Mountain View to Winchester
- Deboard at the Downtown Transit Center on 2nd Street
- Cross through the the alley, across the light rail tacks (watch for trains), onto 1st Street
From 1st Street take the Amtrak Highway 17 Express Southbound from San Jose to Santa Cruz (allow approximately 60 minutes travel time)

From any Terminal take the VTA #10 Eastbound Bus/ Airport Shuttle (the destination sign will read Metro Station)
- The Shuttle is free and runs approximately every 15 minutes (allow approximately 10 minutes travel time)
Cross over to the Southbound Light Rail track from the glass gazebo bus stop (allow approximately 5 minutes travel time)
Take the VTA Light Rail - Mountain View to Winchester ONLY!
- This train will take you to the Diridon Station (allow approximately 20 minutes travel time)
Walk through the station building and take the Amtrak Highway 17 Express Southbound from San Jose to Santa Cruz METRO (allow approximately 60 minutes travel time)
